Shree L. R. Pindolia sports complex
There was a need for a well developed sports ground in Bhuj. Our Samaj has decided to fulfill this need. A modern sports ground fit for playing full fledged cricket, football, hockey etc. and for conducting athletic events, and adhering to international standard with pavilion facility is taking concrete shape at `Nutan Sankul’ on Bhuj-Mundra Road. This sports complex is proposed to be named `Shri L.R. Pindolia Sports Centre’ after its chief patron.

Shree Kutchi Leva Patel Samaj , Bhuj , as an institution was established in the late sixties. Its main activity in the initial years consisted of settlement of marital disputes of its community members. In the mid-seventies, with the involvement of the youth wing, Shree Kutchi Leva Patel Yuvak Sangh, educational, sports and cultural activities were carried on on a small scale. But due to illiteracy and low level of education amongst the masses, there was not much involvement of the major section of the community in Samaj activities.
